Marc Daniel Bio

Marc is a Managing Director, bringing to Oberon over 34 years financial and legal advisory experience serving clients across a variety of industries. Among the industries where Marc closed multiple deals are packaging, chemicals, building products, aerospace & defense, industrial goods & services, healthcare, consumer & retail, and technology, media & education. Over his career, Marc successfully completed over 250 transactions with a total transaction value of over $170 billion. Prior to joining Oberon, Marc led Mergers & Acquisition teams at various Wall Street institutions, most recently as head of Industrials M&A at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (now Truist). Previously, Marc was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns, RBC Capital Markets, and UBS, and started his investment banking career in the industry-leading M&A group at Merrill Lynch (now BofA Securities). Marc was also an M&A Attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell and a commercial banker at Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now JP Morgan). Marc earned his J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and his A.B. from Princeton University.
