Bio

Kendall Holman is a Managing Director, bringing more than 35 years of experience as an investment banker, advisor and investor. He has participated in more than 300 individual transactions totaling approximately $11 billion. His financial services career has ranged from boutique investment banking firms, national brokerage houses, regional, money center and foreign banks. Some of his past appointments include Thomson-McKinnon Securities, Chemical Bank, Credit Suisse and Van Kampen Merritt. Kendall created the Capital Markets Division at SouthTrust Corporation in Birmingham, Alabama in 1991 and served as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets until his departure. Subsequently, Kendall formed an investment banking practice at Synovus Corporation and served as Managing Director of Investment Banking for that firm until 2006. He was Executive Vice President of Protective Securities, a subsidiary of Protective Life Corporation, until 2012. He was Senior Advisor to Ironwood Capital, a Connecticut based private equity fund from 2012 to 2020. Kendall is a past President of the Bank Association for Corporate Finance, an association of investment bankers working for commercial banks, and is a Founding Director of the Birmingham Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, an association of professionals in the merger and acquisition, private equity and corporate finance businesses. Kendall earned his B.A. from Birmingham-Southern College and his M.B.A. from Columbia University. He is an Eagle Scout and serves as Scoutmaster for Troop 28 and is on the Vulcan District Committee. He is also on the Norton Board of Advisors for Birmingham-Southern College.
