Ed is an Executive Director and is focused on a variety of industries, including TMT, energy, industrials, and various consumer sectors, that draw on his over twenty years of investment experience in those areas. In addition to serving as an analyst for several investment managers, Ed was co-founder of Clean Value Partners, which, via the Clean Value Fund, employed an equity long/short strategy that selected investment ideas from a universe of companies across traditional energy, alternative energy, and related industries. From inception through its sale on March 28, 2013, the gross return for the fund was 168.1% vs. 70.7% for the S&P 500. Barclay Managed Funds Report ranked Clean Value Fund its #1 and #5 energy fund for calendar-year 2012 and the three years ended December 2012, respectively. Ed began his Wall Street career in investment research covering the Enterprise Software and Internet/e-Commerce industries at CIBC World Markets and Merrill Lynch, where he was a publishing analyst at both firms. Ed is a graduate of Villanova University.
