Ajit is a Managing Director, bringing to Oberon more than 25 years of experience in the software, technology and industrial segments. Ajit possesses both buy-side and sell-side experience, and has worked on transactions across a broad array of sectors including software and technology, automation and control, industrial products, instrumentation, chemicals, energy, manufacturing, and services segments. Ajit has worked on transactions in ~20 countries with a total transaction value in excess of $6 billion. Prior to joining Oberon, Ajit’s roles included Vice President M&A at American Express GBT business, and Vice President Business Development and M&A at Honeywell, where he led M&A activities for its Performance Materials and Technologies Division. He also held several M&A, Operations and Commercial positions at Honeywell and Bechtel Corporation including Vice President Business Development and M&A role at Honeywell’s Process Solutions business. Ajit earned his M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University, and his Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering from the University of Pune in India.
