Vladimír Jaros Bio

Vladimír is a partner at WOOD & Co., Oaklins’ member firm in the Czech Republic. He has directly managed numerous landmark transactions in the region, including the largest privatizations in the telecommunications, utilities, banking and engineering sectors in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. He has in-depth knowledge of the region’s capital markets, and has been directly responsible for managing capital market transactions for the likes of Zentiva and NWR. Vladimír was also responsible for the development and coordination of WOOD & Co.’s regional research activities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Ukraine. Vladimír joined WOOD & Co. in 1994, and in 1997 took responsibility for the firm’s corporate finance business. Prior to joining the firm, Vladimír was a corporate finance analyst at Živnostenská banka, where he later became the CEO. Vladimír has a degree from the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University in Brno, the Czech Republic.
