Tijn Bastiaans Bio

Tijn is a partner at Oaklins Netherlands. With over 17 years of investment banking experience, Tijn has broad experience in (international) sell-side, buy-side and strategic advisory assignments in the Dutch mid-market, with a specific focus on service-oriented companies. He leads the firm’s private equity coverage team, focusing on safety service, healthcare service and IT service companies. Transactions he has advised on include the sale of SK AeroSafety to LLCP and Bridgepoint’s subsequent acquisition of SK AeroSafety, Fields Group’s sale of FMTC to Smile Invest, Main Capital’s sale of LOQATICS and Inergy, NPM Capital’s sale of Mentaal Beter and Seven2’s sale of SK FireSafety. Prior to joining Oaklins Netherlands in 2024, Tijn was a partner in KPMG’s M&A team in the Netherlands, responsible for both the business services and private equity coverage teams. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in econometrics and a master’s in business economics, with a specialization in investments and corporate finance, both from Tilburg University.
