Stephen Macaw Bio

Stephen is a director at Henslow, Oaklins’ member firm in Australia, with over 30 years’ professional experience across financial services, providing advisory and execution services in equity capital markets, debt markets, mergers and acquisitions, and capital management on both listed and unlisted markets. From Stephen’s extensive experience within investment banking, he has developed strong transactional know-how from a breadth of industries and holds particular expertise in the origination and execution of ECM transactions. Recent notable transactions include advising BigTinCan Holdings (ASX:BTH) on several capital raises to the value of over A$240 million, advising Hansen Technologies (ASX:HSN) on their A$40 million placement and subsequent A$10 million SPP, and providing QMS Media (ASX:QMS) with investor relations support. Prior to joining Henslow, Stephen worked at EL&C Baillieu as director, head of corporate finance. Before that, he worked with ABN AMRO Morgans/ABN AMRO Rothschild in equity capital markets for 10 years from 2000. Stephen has a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA from the University of Melbourne and a Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment.
