Nitin Gupta Bio

Nitin is a director at VantagePoint, Oaklins’ member firm in India. He is responsible for transaction origination and placement across various sectors, mainly in manufacturing, hospitality, technology and real estate. M&A deals he has been involved in include the sale of an operating SaaS company, a structured debt raise for situational and distressed companies and growth capital for a new age enterprise. Nitin joined the firm in 2023. Previously, he had worked at HDFC Bank in the investment banking team responsible for debt syndication for corporates. He had also worked at YES Bank in the corporate finance team for three years and at JLL for two years. Nitin has an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow as well as a master’s in commerce (accountancy) and a bachelor’s degree in management, both from Mumbai University.
