Nicolas Ockier Bio

Nicolas is an associate director at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium. With more than five years of experience, he has gained know-how in a variety of financial advisory deal types, specifically in public and private M&A and ECM. Although he has worked on several deals across different industries, Nicolas’ primary focus is on food & agriculture as part of the Belgian sector expert team. Recent notable M&A transactions he has advised on include the takeover bid on Euronav by CMB (shipping), the takeover bid of Tessenderlo on Picanol (machinery), the sale of a majority stake in ESC to Capital A (TMT), the sale of FAP to Bruvaco (agriculture), the sale of Quares Student Housing to Xior Student Housing (real estate), the takeover bid on Zenitel by 3D investors (TMT) and the sale of Scaldis to Elis (business services). Nicolas joined the firm in 2018. He has a master’s in commercial engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven and a master’s in financial management from Vlerick Business School.
