Matías Ferrer Bio

Matías is a director at LarrainVial, Oaklins’ member firm in Chile. He has extensive experience in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and equity capital market transactions in Chile. With a focus on the energy and utilities sectors, Matías has worked on the buy-side and sell-side, and has participated in IPOs, block-trades and follow-on deals. Matías advised Naturgy on the acquisition of CGE for US$3.3 billion and on the split-off of Gasco. Prior to joining LarrainVial in 2018, Matías was an associate with Banchile Citi (Citibank’s investment banking office in Chile). He is an industrial engineering graduate from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and he has an MBA from Duke.
