Julio Fermo Bio

Julio is a founding partner at Columbus Investment Banking, Oaklins’ member firm in Argentina. He has extensive experience in investment banking, covering all types of transactions. Some of his recent clients include Longvie’s liability management, Prisma’s valuation and the sale of Grupo Assa to Globant S.A. Prior to founding Columbus, Julio was a vice president at Citigroup/Citibank. Before this, he was part of Citigroup’s assets team in Argentina, responsible for the corporate restructuring portfolio affected by the 2001 crisis. Julio is a certified public accountant from the Universidad Nacional Rosario (UNR). He also has a master’s in finance from the Centro de Estudios Macroeconómicos de Argentina (CEMA), which he complemented with a master’s in bankruptcy from the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires (UBA).
