Hans Kohlsdorf Bio

Hans is a partner at ZIMMA Corporate Finance, Oaklins’ member firm in Mexico. He has been active in the energy sector for more than 15 years and has worked in several countries, including Colombia, Germany and Mexico. One of Hans’ most notable deals involved capital raising for the development of mini-hydroelectric projects. Previously, Hans was president and CEO of Siemens Andina and Siemens Mesoamerica, president of the Association of Multinational Companies in Mexico, president of the board of trustees at Trust for the Americas and a board member at Laboratorios MEDIX, ADO and IEC Holden. Hans is also active in the private equity sector, serves as an industry expert at Advent International and as president of the board at Grupo Construlita. He studied economics at Universidad de los Andes and took the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
