Bernardo Gutiérrez Cortina Bio

Bernardo is a partner at ZIMMA Corporate Finance, Oaklins’ member firm in Mexico. He is a senior CPG executive with ample experience in managing companies in Mexico and the USA, having lived and conducted business in both countries for the last 30 years, launching, operating and consolidating different brands. He has advised food & beverage companies on sell-side and strategic advisory transactions, including one of the major goat cheese producers in Mexico’s central region. Before joining ZIMMA, Bernardo was a vice president and served on the board of companies such as Tequila Sauza in Mexico and Jugos del Valle (Coca-Cola/FEMSA) in the United States. He is an industrial engineering graduate from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City, with an AD2 Management Program degree from IPADE.
