Yaron is a senior executive at African Bank, Oaklins’ member firm in South Africa. His expertise covers listings and IPOs, advising on merger and acquisition transactions, valuations, due diligence investigations, independent fairness opinions on public company transactions and advising clients on public market regulatory requirements. Yaron’s experience covers a broad range of industries, including financial services, logistics, manufacturing and property investment. Recent transactions Yaron has advised on include the take-private of a diversified chemicals company and companies in the ICT and healthcare sectors; equity capital raises for public entities in the ICT, healthcare and financial services industries; the disposal by a private investment company of a number of its underlying investments; assisting a fellow Oaklins member with a cross-border disposal of a company in the automotive sector; and various debt raising mandates. Prior to joining African Bank, Yaron was a director at Grant Thornton Corporate Finance, where he spent five years after completing his training in the firm’s audit division and qualifying as a chartered accountant. Yaron is a JSE approved executive and CFA charterholder.
