Bio

Tom is a partner at Oaklins Cavendish, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. He is also COO and CFO of the finnCap Group, the parent company of Oaklins Cavendish. Previously, Tom spent nearly 10 years as a venture capital investor at Herald Investment Management Limited, where he invested in early stage information technology and media companies. Between 1998 and 2000, Tom was an executive at J. Henry Schroder & Co. in the telecoms and technology M&A team. He trained as a chartered accountant (ACA) in KPMG’s project finance team, and has a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences from Trinity College, Cambridge, and an MSc in Computing from Imperial College London.
