Scott is a managing director and co-founder of Henslow, Oaklins’ member firm in Australia. He has over 25 years’ professional experience across corporate advisory, investment banking and chartered accounting, working primarily with small to mid-market private and public growth businesses. Scott has developed strong industry knowledge and transactional expertise in the food & beverage and the transportation & logistics sectors, having advised on and completed a number of significant transactions. Recent notable transactions include advising Powerwrap (ASX:PWL) on a conditional off-market takeover, Watermark on its divestment and Atomos (ASX:AMS) on a recent acquisition. Previously, Scott was the director of growth and acquisition finance at Investec Bank Plc, where he advised on debt and equity solutions for small and mid-market companies. Prior to Investec, he was a director of transaction services at Pitcher Partners in Melbourne, a position he accepted after moving back to Australia following four years in the UK as an associate partner at Oaklins Smith & Williamson. Scott is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and was previously a non-executive director of a private equity-backed mining services company.
