Kim is the managing partner at Oaklins Beierholm in Denmark. He is a very dedicated and hands-on advisor, passionate about always providing the best possible advice to his clients. Kim has completed a large number of transactions for owner-managed companies, corporates, institutional investors, private equity houses and listed clients. He also has extensive experience with complex valuations, funding, debt advisory as well as restructuring advisory. Kim’s focus has always been on mid-market transactions for Danish and international companies, institutional investors and private equity houses across a wide range of sectors. Examples of recent notable transactions include the sale of Sjørring Maskinfabrik to private equity-backed Terratech, the sale of the HR service leader Hartmanns to the Belgian group Actief, the sale of the Danish visual effects company GHOST VFX to Hollywood-based Streamland Media, the sale of Hoyer to the private equity investor Solix, the sale of FDC to Total Specific Solutions, the sale of ISS Industri- og Kloakservice to private equity-backed Norva24 and the acquisition of NGF Nature Energy for Pioneer Point Partners. Prior to joining Oaklins, Kim spent 18 years focusing on M&A advisory. Most recently he was head of KPMG’s Danish corporate finance team, and before that at PwC in their corporate finance department. Kim has a master’s in finance from the Aarhus School of Business.
