Hans is a partner at ZIMMA Corporate Finance, Oaklins’ member firm in Mexico. He has been active in the energy sector for more than 15 years and has worked in several countries, including Colombia, Germany and Mexico. One of Hans’ most notable deals involved capital raising for the development of mini-hydroelectric projects. Previously, Hans was a commercial vice president at Siemens Bogota, president and CEO of Siemens Mesoamerica and president of the Association of Multinational Companies in Mexico. Hans is also active in the private equity sector and has served as an operating partner at Advent International. He serves on the board of trustees of Trust for the Americas, Tecnolite, ADO and IEC Holden. He studied economics at Universidad de los Andes and an Advanced Administration Program at Harvard.
