Dominique is a managing director at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium. He leads the firm’s construction, building materials and engineering team and co-leads the private equity sector coverage. Thanks to his previous experience, Dominique also has very good knowledge of the industrial minerals and wider industrial & mining spaces. In the course of his career, Dominique has advised on more than 35 deals across the product spectrum, be it M&A or capital markets. Notable recent transactions include Lhoist’s acquisitions of Imerys (Brazil) and HeidelbergCement’s (Germany) lime activities as well as the sale of Lhoist’s Russian activities to a group of local investors. Previously, Dominique was head of M&A at Lhoist, a leading industrial mineral company. Prior to that, he was a VP at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Dominique has an MBA from IESE Business School and is a graduate of École Polytechnique and Solvay Business School (Université Libre de Bruxelles).
