Agustín is a director at LarrainVial, Oaklins’ member firm in Chile. He has extensive experience in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, equity capital market and debt capital market transactions in Chile. With a focus on the salmon and financial sectors, Agustín has worked on the buy-side and sell-side, and has participated in IPOs, block-trades, and follow-on and bond issuance deals. Notable transactions include advising the trustee of Pesca Chile on the sale of the company and its subsidiaries, Acuinova and Novaustral, for US$345 million and Multiexport on its follow-on offering, which was subscribed by Mitsui, for US$101 million. Agustín has a bachelor’s degree in economic and administrative sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
