Max Gilbert Bio

Max joined Oakley Advisory in 2018. He has >10 years of Communications experience, with a particular focus on Digital Infrastructure, Communications and Online. Since joining Oakley, Max has advised on a range of public and private transactions including DigitalBridge’s acquisition of telecom towers from Syn and Nova in Iceland, Cellnex’s acquisition of Cignal Infrastructure, the sale of Manx Telecom to Basalt Infrastructure Partners, and the merger of JustEat and Takeaway.com. Prior to joining Oakley Max spent 3 years with New Street Research as a TMT equity analyst, specialising in the coverage of European telecom operators, towers and the wider digital infrastructure market. Max also spent 5 years with KPMG in their London and Channel Island offices. Whilst at KPMG Max qualified as an ACA and remains a member of the ICAEW.
