Marc focuses on public-to-private transactions, both on the buy-side and sell-side, as well as advising public companies on M&A strategy. He has a wide sector focus, including online, managed services and software. Notable public takeovers Marc has advised on include Just Eat’s £11bn merger with Takeaway.com, the acquisition by TA Associates-backed Confluence Technologies of StatPro Group and the acquisition of Manx Telecom plc by Basalt Infrastructure Partners, Marc started his corporate finance career at Deloitte before spending 2½ years on secondment to the Takeover Panel where he oversaw approximately 300 transactions governed by the City Code. He is a member of the working group on takeovers of the Corporate Finance Faculty of the ICAEW and has a First Class Honours degree in History with French from Bristol University.
