Bio

Michael J. O'Hare brings over 30 years of Wall Street Investment Banking experience to the private M&A world. Michael's vision for O'Hare Management is to deliver on the objectives of our clients by utilizing the firm’s resources to enhance our value-added approach. Michael has built immeasurable relationships with Strategic Partners, Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, and Private Equity Funds that are integral assets in facilitating our customers’ goals. He has gained vast knowledge of the M&A world through his work with Capital Markets in the Syndicate department at major Wall Street firms. Prior to O'Hare Management, Michael started his career on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange before graduating into the role of Head of Institutional Trading at Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan Chase. While at Lehman, Michael cultivated and quarterbacked a team that consistently produced over $1B of revenue annually. He was also the firm’s top-producing block trader. While at JP Morgan Chase, Michael took 25 of the top 50 accounts from top-15 to top-7 ranking and increased annual trading revenue from $500mm to $750mm. In addition to Michael’s trading background, he was a vital component of the Syndicates Team’s success in orchestrating award-winning IPO’s, Secondaries, and Spot Transactions. Michael played an invaluable role working with Private Equity, Strategic, and all Investor Relationships. Michael was heavily involved in the trading industry being part of committees such as the Co-Chairperson of the Wall Street Committee for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a member of the NYSE Advisory Committee, the Upstairs Trading advisory Committee, the Market Performance Committee, and the Stock Allocation Committee. Michael has contributed to various financial news reports including Barron's, CNBC, CNN, New York Times, and Reuters. Michael received his Bachelors in Business Administration from St. Francis University where he was a member of the Basketball Team.
