Marcel joined Nielen Schuman in 2010. Previously Marcel worked at Zanders Treasury and Finance Solutions where he gained transaction experience in debt raising and risk management. At Nielen Schuman, Marcel developed a long track record in leverage and acquisition finance transactions for domestic and international private equity firms and corporates. He has also advised management teams on their incentive plan in private equity related transactions. Recent notable transactions include raising financing for Goldman Sachs’ acquisition of Continental Bakeries, raising financing for Egeria’s acquisition of KP&T and The Employment Group and the recapitalisation of Dutch Bakery Group. Marcel received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Nyenrode Business University and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential from CFA Institute.
