Mr. William Lautman serves as Managing Partner of Nexus Health Capital. He enjoys extensive Healthcare Investment Banking and Principal Investing experience. Mr. Lautman has successfully executed numerous public and private investment banking transactions and hosts an extensive roster of senior-level private equity, venture capital, institutional debt, and industry relationships. Mr. Lautman is frequently invited to speak at leading healthcare industry conferences, including, as a Featured Investment Banking panelist on the Physician Practice Management Panels for (1) GI Outlook 2017: The Practice Management Conference, (2) 2015-18 McDermott Will & Emery Ambulatory Surgery Center & Physician Practice Management Symposium, and (3) 2016-17 McGuireWoods Healthcare Private Equity Conference. Mr. Lautman is a recipient of the People to Watch in Healthcare Transactions Award from Nightingale’s Healthcare News. Prior to his founding Nexus, Mr. Lautman served as Partner and Head of the New York Healthcare Investment Banking Division – Cowen & Co. and Senior Vice President, Healthcare Investment Banking Group – Kidder, Peabody & Co. Inc. Mr. Lautman completed the Comparative Business Policy Programme, Oxford University, Brasenose College, received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Georgetown University, and his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
