Mr. Brett Spencer enjoys extensive Healthcare Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Due Diligence, and Operational Consulting experience. Prior to his joining Nexus, Mr. Spencer served as a Transaction Leader within the Business Valuation Services division at VMG Health, a leading National Healthcare Valuation-Advisory firm. Mr. Spencer’s experience spans across numerous sectors of the Healthcare Industry, including Valuation and Transaction Advisory experience with large Physician Groups, Diagnostic Imaging Centers, Oncology Centers, and numerous other ancillary healthcare businesses. Mr. Spencer enjoys extensive Ambulatory Surgery Center Practice Valuation and Transaction experience, including over 200 valuation opinions of single specialty and multi-specialty ASCs, as well as significant work with AmSurg, USPI, Surgery Partners, and SCA, among others. Additionally, Mr. Spencer has served as an advisor in the formation and development of numerous joint venture initiatives between physician practices and other providers with hospitals and health systems. Mr. Spencer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Accounting, where he also competed on the University of Texas Men’s Golf Team.
