Jim King joined Needham & Company in 1993. Jim currently heads Needham’s activities related to Solar and Semiconductor Capital Equipment. While at Needham & Company, he has been responsible for the execution of over 100 equity financings and advisory transactions worth over $15 billion for technology companies. Additionally, Jim has significant technology operations and business strategy experience, working in strategic marketing at Silicon Graphics, in enterprise sales for a start-up software company, and serving for three years as CEO of a demand chain software company he founded. Jim holds an AB in Quantitative Economics and an MBA, both from Stanford University.
