Pooyan Mehdizadeh Bio

Pooyan Mehdizadeh rejoined Needham & Company in September 2012 and leads the M&A practice at Needham & Company. He has more than 25 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Needham & Company as a senior member of the M&A group, Pooyan was a Managing Director at ThinkEquity. He has successfully represented public and private companies in over 175 completed transactions across the full spectrum of advisory assignments, including acquisitions, exclusive sales, divestitures, majority recaps, spin-offs, take-over defense assignments and cross-border transactions. Earlier in his career, he was a software consultant at Accenture plc. Pooyan earned a B.S. in Information and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Irvine.
