David Laufer Bio

David Laufer joined Needham & Company in 2019 as Head of Institutional Equity Trading and Sales Trading. He leads the firm’s trading unit where he is responsible for high and low touch execution services, firm capital facilitation, sector desk content and equity capital markets deal stabilization efforts. David has over 20 years of Institutional Trading experience, having spent 8 years as a Managing Director at Oppenheimer and Co, where he headed up the Technology and Industrial Sector trading. Prior to Oppenheimer, he spent several years at BMO Capital Markets as a position trader in the Technology and Industrials verticals. David earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Denison University.
