Jim Apostolides joined Needham & Company in 2008 as a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group and is also the Chairman of the Firm’s Fairness Opinion Committee. He has decades of experience as an investment banker, a strategy consultant and a corporate executive, and has completed a very large number of transactions of all types and values, across many geographies. Jim began his career at McKinsey & Company, helping clients develop strategies to address growth, resource allocation, turnaround and diversification issues. As an investment banker, he has worked at Salomon Brothers, Scully Brothers & Foss, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup. Most of his banking career prior to Needham & Company was devoted to working on large, extremely complex projects for some of the world’s highest profile clients. He also spent four years in executive roles at Accenture, Oracle and BearingPoint, executing C-suite special projects of a financial and strategic nature. Jim has a BS in Operations Research and an MBA in Finance, both from New York University.
