Bio

Ben joined Murray & Co in 2022 following over 13 years in the London banking and restructuring markets. He has worked extensively in both principal and advisory capacities, most recently as an independent adviser to boards and management teams, supporting across transactions, restructurings and transformations. Prior to this, Ben was an Associate Partner in KPMG UK’s Restructuring practice where he led numerous high-profile advisory and restructuring engagements. Ben started his career as a credit portfolio manager and credit trader for Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi (London). With his strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management background, Ben is adept at stepping into complex and challenging situations and helping clients realise the best possible outcomes. Ben has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Doctor of Philosophy (Physics) from the University of Canterbury.
