Joe Golden Bio

Joe Golden has 25 years of experience as an investment banker to middle market companies serving industrial, manufacturing, distribution, technology, healthcare, government contracting, consumer product/market research and business services companies. Prior to joining Mufson Howe Hunter in 2023, since 2020, he was the founder and Managing Partner of middle market investment bank, BGX Advisory, LLC. Before BGX, Mr. Golden served as Managing Director (2008 to 2018) and Managing Partner (2018 to 2020) of a national middle market investment bank. Mr. Golden holds his Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 licenses. Prior to his investment banking career, as a business executive and entrepreneur, Mr. Golden founded/co-founded and successfully exited several business enterprises. Mr. Golden has served on numerous commercial and not-for-profit boards over the past 30 years. Mr. Golden graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree (magna cum laude) in accounting from Virginia Tech.
