Michael Alexander Bio

Mr. Alexander is a co-founder of Moorgate Partners where he runs the firm’s transaction execution business. Prior to Moorgate, Mr. Alexander worked for 16 years in investment banking groups in London, San Francisco, and New York for JP Morgan and Wachovia Securities. At JP Morgan Chase, as the head of emerging communications investment banking coverage groups, Mr. Alexander advised and financed multiple public and private growth-oriented companies. During his investment banking tenure, Mr. Alexander has executed over $25 billion of M&A, equity, and debt transactions for middle market and large cap clients across various segments within the communications and media sectors, including complex M&A and financing assignments. Mr. Alexander earned a BSc degree in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.
