Nathan Harrell Bio

Mr. Harrell is a Managing Director and Head of the Portfolio Group of Monroe Capital. He is responsible for overseeing portfolio management and manages a team of investment professionals that focus on stressed portfolio accounts. Mr. Harrell has over 15 years of middle market credit experience. Prior to Monroe, Mr. Harrell was an Assistant Vice President at Deerfield Capital Management, where he was responsible for the underwriting and monitoring of broadly syndicated and middle-market loans. Prior to Deerfield, he held similar roles at Pangaea Asset Management and CapitalSource Finance. Mr. Harrell began his career at JP Morgan Chase Bank as an underwriter for middle market transactions. Mr. Harrell earned his B.A. from the University of Chicago.
