Rob Flachs is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in Capital Structure Advisory. Rob has over 20 years of restructuring, investment banking and related experience. He has advised companies and creditors across a broad range of industries in recapitalizations, in-court and out-of-court restructurings, financings and distressed M&A. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Rob was a Managing Director in the Recapitalization & Restructuring group at Jefferies & Company. Before that, he was an attorney at Guth Rothman & Christopher and Irell & Manella. Rob graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. from UCLA and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
