Michele Miyakawa is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Michele specializes in advising high growth consumer companies regarding capital raises and strategic alternatives including M&A. Michele has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry as both a banker and an executive, leading multiple banking and management roles at Moelis & Company, including COO of Global Advisory. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Michele worked at UBS Investment Bank where she advised clients on M&A, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and other equity and debt transactions. Before UBS, she was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Michele holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. She served on the Board of Directors of Pacific Mercantile Bancorp and as a Board Member of the Hollywood Hills West Council.
