Matt Hughes Bio

Matt Hughes is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in M&A advisory. Matt has over 15 years of corporate finance experience including extensive buy-side and sell-side experience across a wide range of industries, offering perspective from both sides of the table in public and private transactions. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Matt worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Morgan Stanley and held various investment banking and corporate finance positions at Merrill Lynch and the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi. Matt holds a B.A. in Economics from Columbia College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
