John Kimm Bio

John Kimm is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in M&A Advisory. John has nearly 30 years of investment banking experience, executing public and private buy-side and sell-side mergers, acquisitions and joint venture transactions across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, John was a Managing Director at Evercore where he advised clients across the industrials, consumer and various other sectors in addition to contributing to the growth of the firm’s advisory alliances in Asia. Previously, he held senior investment banking roles at BofA Securities and Bear Stearns. Before his career in investment banking, John served as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company. John holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
