Hang Yuan Bio

Hang Yuan is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in advising corporate and financial sponsors clients on M&A transactions across the Asia-Pacific region. He has over 15 years of investment banking and private equity experience, with expertise in cross-border buy-outs, privatizations, and minority investments, as well as restructuring and financing transactions across a broad range of industries. Before joining Moelis & Company, Hang was a Managing Director at SINO-CEE Fund, an affiliate of ICBC, where he led the fund’s cross-border investments into Europe. Prior to that, he spent a decade in investment banking roles leading numerous landmark M&A transactions at Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific and Deutsche Bank. Hang holds an MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge and a BSc from the University of Warwick.
