Greg Starkins Bio

Greg Starkins is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in advising industrial companies across the aerospace and defense and multi-industry sectors. Greg has over 25 years of investment banking experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions, as well as shareholder advisory and activist defense situations. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Greg led advisory efforts across the Diversified Industrials, Capital Goods and Services sectors, as well as for the Global Aerospace and Defense sector at Deutsche Bank. Before that, Greg was a member of the M&A team at Merrill Lynch and also coordinated Merrill’s Global Aerospace and Defense advisory practice. Greg began his career as a M&A lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Organizational Behavior/Management from Brown University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
