Steven Halperin is a Managing Director and Head of Equity Public Markets at Moelis & Company, focusing on the Firm’s public and private market origination and distribution capabilities. Mr. Halperin has 21 years of investment banking experience, most recently as Americas Head of Equity-Linked & Hybrid Solutions at Barclays. Prior to that role, he was Co-Head of EMEA Equity Capital Markets after leading EMEA Equity-Linked Origination. Mr. Halperin began his career at Lehman Brothers having worked in various capital markets roles. During his career, Mr. Halperin has originated, structured, and executed over one hundred convertible capital raises and equity derivative transactions as well as dozens of subordinated debt, preferred, and equity capital issuances across two regions. Mr. Halperin holds a B.S.M in Economics and Finance from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
