Mark Renton is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in providing financial and strategic advice to oil and gas clients. Mr. Renton has more than 30 years of experience primarily advising energy companies, particularly in the upstream and oilfield services sectors. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Renton held a number of senior investment banking roles, most recently as Managing Director of the Energy Group at Lazard Frères & Co and Vice Chairman of the Global Energy Group at Citigroup Global Markets. While with Citigroup Mr. Renton also served as Head of Investment Banking for Asia-Pacific and then as Co-Head of the Public Sector Group, where he oversaw strategic advisory for government and public sector entities globally. Mr. Renton holds a B.A./M.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Christ Church at Oxford University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
