Mark Henkels is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company and is among the founding partners of the New York office. Mr. Henkels has over 25 years of investment banking experience. Before joining Moelis, he was Head of the Industrial Growth and Services Group at CIBC World Markets. While at CIBC, Mr. Henkels built one of Wall Street’s leading industrial banking franchises in metals and mining, capital goods, chemicals, aerospace and defense and building products. Prior to CIBC, Mr. Henkels led the Global Basic Industries franchises at Merrill Lynch focusing on the steel and aluminum, capital goods and building products sectors. Previous investment banking experience also included tenures at Salomon Brothers’ and Smith Barney. Mr. Henkels has a B.A. in Accounting from Creighton University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
