Charlie Denison is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Denison has over 30 years of investment banking experience. Most recently, Mr. Denison ran the Chicago office of Deutsche Bank and predecessor Bankers Trust since 1994, and was responsible for overseeing the firm's investment banking activities in the Midwest as well as coordinating the strategies of the private wealth and asset management businesses. From 1996 to 2008 he was also Co-Head of the Industrials Investment Banking Group and was responsible for its Paper and Packaging sector practice. During his career, Mr. Denison has advised clients on numerous transactions across mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and debt and equity financings. Mr. Denison joined Bankers Trust in 1987 from Harris Bank. Mr. Denison holds an A.B. in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Lyric Opera of Chicago since 1995 and of Chicago Youth Centers since 1990. He was a member of The Chicago Children's Museum Board of Directors from 1990 until 1998.
