Arek Kurkciyan is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he advises clients across the life sciences, outsourced pharmaceutical services and pharmaceutical industries. Arek has nearly 20 years of investment banking experience advising healthcare companies and financial sponsors on important M&A and financing transactions. Previously, Arek was a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Morgan Stanley. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Arek was part of Deutsche Bank’s Healthcare Investment Banking group. Prior to Investment Banking, Arek held a number of functional roles in the pharmaceutical industry, including various sales and marketing positions at GlaxoSmithKline and HS&E Norvatis. Arek holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
