Alex Hageman is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in capital markets advisory. Mr. Hageman has helped lead Moelis & Company’s EMEA equity capital markets advisory business since 2011 and many of the Firm’s IPO advisory assignments. He has extensive transaction experience executing IPOs and follow-on offerings, including the IPOs of Statoil ASA, Sophos PLC, Novatek PJSC, Ascential PLC, Neste Oil Oy, Pirelli Real Estate SpA, Europris ASA, Polypipe PLC, and Nordic Waterproofing AS. Mr. Hageman is also highly experienced in advising on and executing privatisations, with clients including the Norwegian, Finnish, Dutch and Russian governments. Previously, Mr. Hageman worked in the Equity Capital Markets groups at Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, focusing on capital raisings for clients in the corporate, private equity and governmental spheres across all sectors. Prior to his career in investment banking, he worked on the buy-side team at Robeco Asset Management. Mr. Hageman holds an M.Sc. (Corporate Finance) from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
