Dan has over 25 years of deal experience most recently at General Mills, where he was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development responsible for both strategy and M&A. In his 12 years at General Mills, Dan led the acquisition and divestiture of numerous companies including Pillsbury, Small Planet Foods, LARABAR, and Uncle Tobys. Before joining General Mills, he was Vice President of Corporate Development at RR Donnelley, and prior to that Dan held multiple corporate and operating roles at Bell & Howell and USG. His knowledge of the Food and Consumer industries has led to numerous speaking and consulting engagements. Dan has served on various Boards of Directors including the Minnesota Opera and Sterling Group’s Exopack and currently serves on the Chicago advisory Board of L.E.K., a management consulting firm. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and his MBA from Loyola University in Chicago.
