David Nirtaut Bio

David Nirtaut is a Senior Managing Director and heads the Strategic Fixed Income Management group at Mesirow. He is responsible for investment strategy as well as portfolio management across several mandates and strategies including oversight of portfolio construction and trade implementation. David has over 25 years of fixed income experience in portfolio management, trading, asset allocation and investment strategy. Prior to joining Mesirow, he served as Chief Investment Officer for Curve Asset Management. Before that, David served as Head of Fixed Income and Solutions and Head of Trading for LGIM America where he served in leadership capacities in the fixed income, insurance, pension, LDI and global trading businesses since 2007. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with honors, from Indiana University and a Masters of Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from The University of Notre Dame. He actively volunteers with Misericordia and Catholic Charities.
