John Chrysikopoulos is a Managing Director in Mesirow Investment Banking and is based in New York. He is responsible for developing key relationships, leading deal teams throughout the transaction process and providing advisory services on middle-market M&A assignments within the paper, plastics and packaging sector. John has more than 30 years of Investment Banking experience. He began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. first as a Senior Equity Research Analyst, ranked #1 by Institutional Investor – paper and forest products sector, and then as a Managing Director in the Industrials and Natural Resources group. John also worked at Salomon Brothers/Citigroup as Managing Director in the Industrials group. From 2009-2012, John served as a Managing Director at Mesirow, providing advisory services within the industrials and paper, plastics and packaging sectors. In 2019, he rejoined the firm, resuming his role as Managing Director with a focus on paper, plastics and packaging.
