Bio

Patrick is President & Managing Director at Meridian Capital and also leads the firm’s Technology and Telecom Practices. As President, Patrick is responsible for driving key operational initiatives to enhance client outcomes, accelerate team member development, and improve firm efficiency. Over the course of his career as an investment banker and economic and financial consultant, Patrick has advised clients across an assortment of industry segments, including biotech, pharmaceutical, technology, media, and telecommunications. He has successfully advised Fortune 50 companies and privately held businesses and entrepreneurs on a variety of sell-side and buy-side, recapitalization, growth equity, and strategic advisory assignments. Prior to joining Meridian, Patrick worked as a TMT investment banker with HSBC in London and a financial and economic consultant with The Brattle Group in Cambridge, Massachusetts and LECG in Chicago, Illinois, where he worked with biotech, pharmaceutical, and technology companies. Patrick received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he graduated with honors and concentrations in finance, entrepreneurship, and strategic management. Prior to earning his MBA, Patrick studied at the University of Washington, where he graduated with a BS in economics and a BA in classical studies. He holds his Series 24, Series 79, Series 82, and Series 63 licenses with FINRA. Patrick is currently a board member of the University of Washington College of Arts and Sciences and has collaborated with the university’s Department of Classics to establish the Ringland Rome Prize, which helps students study abroad at the University of Washington’s Rome Center. A native of the greater Seattle area, Patrick currently lives with his family in Seattle. Outside of the office, his interests include making music and studying physics with a healthy dose of cooking and eating mixed in.
